February: City Buzz
Maboneng is my favorite area of Joburg to photograph. There is so much street art, culture, business, and urban curiosity to explore here. It is the center of the Joburg renaissance, a perfect location to take fun and stylish photos which is undoubtedly and proudly African.
MARCH-APRIL: COSMOS FLOWERS
End of March into early April is the autumn here in Joburg, when the tall, elegant cosmos flowers spread throughout Delta Park. You will see they are beautiful and peaceful. Let’s jump in the sea of cosmos and capture these lovely flowers forever as the most special background of your African family photo shoot.
OCTOBER: THE MONTH OF JACARANDAS
Each spring a sea of purple petals from thousands of jacaranda trees blooms above Johannesburg suburban streets. To capture the spectacular spring blossoms we will head to one of the older suburbs like Rosebank, Greenside, Houghton, Dunkeld or Parkwood.
DECEMBER: FAMILY TIME
Johannesburg houses and gardens are spacious and beautiful and perfect for a relaxed and fun photos session. Let’s have a family soot in early December in your house, patio, garden, or while having a picnic in one of your favourite parks. If you are having family or friends visiting from overseas, this is a great opportunity to hold a photo session by showing them the fabulous South African outdoor beauty and lifestyle!
